Experience the flavor of real Thai Arabica in Every Sip

Indulge in the captivating flavors of our Thai Arabica Coffee, cultivated in the pristine high altitudes of the Nan Province in northern Thailand. This coffee embodies the perfect balance of nature's blessings, craftsmanship, and the rich heritage of 50 years Thai coffee cultivation.

Medium Roast for a Balanced Journey: Our Medium Roast Thai Arabica beans offer a delightful harmony of flavors. With a medium roast profile, these beans bring forth a symphony of gentle acidity, nuanced sweetness, and a subtle nutty undertone. Each cup is a journey through the misty mountains and lush landscapes of Nan Province, encapsulated in a warm and inviting brew.

Elevating Sustainability: Our commitment to sustainable and ethical farming practices ensures that each coffee bean is grown with care and respect for the environment. We prioritize organic methods and support local communities, contributing to the well-being of the region and its people. Khun Nan Coffee follows organic principles, but is not "organic" certified yet.

The Origin of Thai Coffee

Thai King Rama 9 had his own idea how to handle the drug problem in the seventies. In contrast to the US, who started their “war on drugs” with armed forces against small farmers and napalm bombs on the opium fields, the King of Thailand went to the opium farmers and talked with them himself. He studied the subject and created a complete program which had been based on alternative crops to opium and Thai citizenship  for the farmers who have been mostly hill tribes without any citizenship. This program marked the end of the drug problem in Thailand and the beginning of the Thai Coffee Culture.

50 years later Thai Coffee is a remarkable success story. The qualified growing of high quality arabica coffee plants , proper handling of coffee beans, roasting, packing, etc, has reached a level where Thai quality coffee actually has higher demand than supply.

We are happy that we found one of the really motivated  coffee farmers who is already the second generation and has a strong focus on high quality products and reliable farming practice.
